Olga Feodorovna of Baden
Grand Duchess Olga Feodorovna of Russia (Karlsruhe, 20 September 1839 – Kharkov, Russian Empire 12 April 1891), was the wife of Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolaievich of Russia, the youngest son of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia. She was born as Cecilie Auguste, Princess and Margravine of Baden (German: Cäcilie Olga Prinzessin von Baden), the youngest daughter of Grand Duke Leopold of Baden and Sophie Wilhelmine of Sweden. Cecilie took the name Olga Feodorovna following her conversion to the Orthodox faith.[1]
Biography
Marriage and issue
She married Mikhail in 28 August 1857 at the Chapel of the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg.[1] Together they had 7 children:
